Wynkar is a city in Varos.
History[]
Founded ontop of a cliffy plateau Wynkar is one of the few cities in Varos with natural protection from raiders and bandits thanks to its placement.
During the Lightwar it served as a staging point for the forces of Anvaris.
Notable Locations[]
Wynkar Castle[]
A compact fortress surrounded by a small ringwall the Wynkar castle was used as a temporary command center during the Lightwar.
Wynkar Lifts[]
Also known as the 'Great Lifts of Wynkar' these impressive structures vary in size and function. Currently Wynkar have two greater lifts with five separate transport platforms and seven smaller lifts with one transport platform each.
These lifts are of high strategic value as they serve as chokepoints leading up to the main city.
