Caspar von Engelbrecht was a former knight in the army of the Lesser Kingdoms, whom retired and became an aristocrat after suffering a crippling disease that left him confined to a wheelchair. He became a Duke in the lesser kingdom of Lostristein, and lord of the Engelbrecht Estate after his father's death, titles which he maintained untill his own death. He was the father of twins Ulrich and Verena von Engelbrecht.
